Terms of Service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Chronicle is currently in beta. These terms reflect our current practices and will continue to evolve as the product matures — including a full legal review before general availability. If anything here changes in a way that affects you, we'll notify active users by email before it takes effect, as described below.

What Chronicle is

Chronicle is a personal health information tracking tool. It helps you log daily symptoms, surfaces patterns in that data, and generates summaries you can choose to share with a physician.

Medical disclaimer

Chronicle is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Patterns and insights generated by Chronicle are observations about your self-reported data, not clinical conclusions, and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health and before making any medical decisions.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately — do not use Chronicle in place of urgent care.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chronicle.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log — Chronicle can only find patterns in the data you provide.

Subscriptions and billing

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription — $12/month or $99/year, billed through Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel anytime from your Account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your logged data remains accessible and exportable regardless of subscription status.

Acceptable use

Use Chronicle for its intended purpose — tracking your own health information. Don't attempt to access another user's data, interfere with the service, or use it to generate content unrelated to personal health tracking.

AI-generated content

Some content in Chronicle — detected patterns, report summaries — is generated with the assistance of AI models processing your logged data. This content is an aid to reviewing your own information, not an authoritative medical assessment, and may occasionally be incomplete or imprecise.

Termination

You can stop using Chronicle at any time. If you want your account and data removed, contact us at emmanuel@vaqeno.com and we will process the request in line with our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

Chronicle is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronicle and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on patterns or reports it generates.

Changes to these terms

We'll notify active users by email before any material change takes effect.
