Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Chronicle is currently in beta. This policy reflects our current practices and will continue to evolve as the product matures — including a full legal review before general availability. If anything here changes in a way that affects you, we'll notify active users by email before it takes effect, as described below.

What we collect

Account information: your email address, used for sign-in and account-related email only.

Health information you provide directly: the conditions you tell us you're tracking, your daily check-in entries (pain, energy, mood, sleep, exertion, and any symptoms you log), and any free-text notes you write.

Information Chronicle generates from what you provide: detected patterns, post-exertional malaise events, and physician reports you choose to generate. These are derived from your entries and stored the same way.

Billing information: handled directly by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. We store your subscription status and plan, not your card details.

Feedback you send us: if you use the feedback form in Account settings, we store the text you write along with your account so we can read and respond to it. Feedback is not processed by the AI models we use for pattern detection or physician reports — it goes to us directly, for product development purposes only.

How we use it

To run the check-in and pattern-detection features you're using Chronicle for. To generate physician reports when you ask for one. To send the two categories of email described below. That's the extent of it — your entries are not used for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles for any purpose beyond the product features you've directly requested.

Third parties who process your data

Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted per-account at the database level.

Anthropic — we send your check-in data to Anthropic's Claude API to detect patterns and help synthesize physician report content. We recommend reviewing Anthropic's own privacy and data-use policies for how they handle API data.

Lemon Squeezy — processes payments as our Merchant of Record if you subscribe. We never see or store your full card number.

Resend — delivers the emails described below.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for insurance, employment, or credit assessments.

Email we send

Only two kinds: notification that new insights are ready (only if you've opted in), and an occasional check-in reminder if you've gone quiet for a few days, which you can turn off anytime in Account settings. We don't send marketing digests, win-back campaigns, or anything else.

Your data, your control

You can export everything Chronicle holds about you — as JSON or CSV — from your Account page, at any time, regardless of subscription status. If you want to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at emmanuel@vaqeno.com. We will review the request and remove it from active systems within 30 days unless retention is required by law or billing records.

Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

Age requirement

Chronicle is intended for adults. It is not directed at, and should not be used by, children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll notify active users by email before the change takes effect.
